Freelance.

It's official, I have made my leap of faith and I'm now a freelance illustrator.

Last week i left my full time job to pursue my dream and actually be able to draw and create. To say thank you and show everyone in my shop how much they mean to me, i made individual cards with their own handwritten initial. Each card has a different background colour behind the white foliage pattern.

Wish me luck..!

Moniquilla

Beautiful designs by Mónica Muñoz, a fashion designer from spain. Here are two lovely scarves she has designed and some notebooks, she is completely right when she says..

'There is a kind of people, which I'm included in, who are kind of weird and buy notebooks that we are reluctant to use. We have them on a shelf because they are too pretty, waiting for an special ocasion to start using them, while we write down to-do lists and sketches in other notebooks that we don't like that much. That's so true, it's something that also happens with pencils.
For all those people, and for those other that are not afraid to use something beautiful everyday - without waiting for something special to happen - to draw doodles and their not-to-forget lists, I've designed these notebooks with many of my patterns, since the very beginning!'

Florence

Following on the paper cut out theme... how talented is my house mate?! These intricate designs are all hand cut by Jessica Florence Smith. Depicting either poems or little stories, each word or pattern is delicately cut and the result is beautiful.
